In a collaboration brimming with capital letters and stylized misspellings, NGHTMRE and LOUDPVCK have teamed up to drop a rowdy trap banger in the form of “Click Clack.” In the preview above, the production forces behind the new track bring fans a taste of its full three minute runtime, and after giving it a few listens, we’re already hungry for more.
“Click Clack” opens with a grating synth melody and aggressive, stuttering vocal samples. Metallic bass hits explode with the rhythms of a machine gun, intersecting the looming 808 kicks underneath. Monstrous growls and screeching synth leads punctuate the heavy drops, taking “Click Clack” to the limit with its massive energy and dark vibe.
The second half of the track, meanwhile, has the producers pounding out a punishing big room style rhythm, as the half-time trap beats are traded in for a rapid house groove.
NGHTMRE and LOUDPVCK compliment each others production style perfectly here, resulting in a massive collaboration that will surely have an explosive effect on festival goers this summer.
