The dance music community was lit ablaze last week when Porter Robinson and Madeon not only released a surprise collaborative single together on “Shelter,” but also revealed that they would be embarking on a tour of the same name. The two producers recently got together for an interview with the Australian radio station Triple J to discuss their new track as well as a number of topics related to their recent work together.
Robinson reveals the interior design of Madeon’s studio, bringing up the fact that it’s located in a bamboo garden and decked out with plenty of Daft Punk decorum. They also state that they refrained from playing “Shelter” live to make its release that much more exciting, and finally, they discussed their plans for the upcoming tour.
Though the interview is brief, it’s a lighthearted and enjoyable conversation with Porter Robinson and Madeon that will leave you that much more excited for the Shelter tour.
