After contributing new music to Alexander Wang’s 2016 fashion campaign, Skrillex has teamed up with familiar cohorts Marshmello and Slushii to deliver a massive b2b set in China. Following up on his debut Boiler Room set in conjunction with IMS-Asia-Pacific, the “Purple Lamborghini” producer stopped off in Shanghai’s famed MYST nightclub to drop the performance with his junk food themed proteges. Luckily for fans located outside of China, a video of the set has surfaced on YouTube for our viewing pleasure.
The 53 minute long video features plenty of enticing footage of the three DJs dropping their collaborative set, which is filled to the brim with some top notch trap and hip hop tunes. The tracklist is littered with music from acts like DJ Snake, Brillz, Dillon Francis, Jack Ü and more as Skrillex, Marshmello and Slushii seamlessly bounce from track to track.
In addition to ranking as a great performance, the b2b set with Skrillex and Marshmello serves as yet another memorable career milestone for Slushii, who just recently celebrated his debut DJ set at HARD Summer in August.
