For some strange reason, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia inserted itself into the Super Bowl. With a promise to give details of the 16th season for every touchdown the Eagles made during the game, they quickly made it clear it was a joke and now fans of the show as well as the Eagles fans are having a heyday with it.

While Rihanna is nailing it during the halftime show and Mahomes is getting his ankle looked at in the locker room, fans for It’s Always Sunny are still waiting on those details if any are ever going to be tweeted. How many touchdowns do the Eagles have to make until a new tidbit comes out from the Twitter account? With the game at 14-24 Eagles, the fans have earned some information, but since it’s all a joke, this whole thing has turned into a downward drunken spiral that is as hilarious as the show itself.

What some fans would like to know is if this Twitter account is run by a fanatic or an intern. Who knows? Who makes a promise they never intended to keep in the first place?

And remember, it is only a joke. It has always been a joke. If this had been a real statement, further information would have been provided to you as to what to do and where to go in this extreme emergency.

Oh, wait! Is “It’s Always Sunny” watching the game with a few brews? That doesn’t sound like what someone from Philly would actually do.

Whoever it is who runs the Twitter account has confirmed that it is their legitimate job, which they are paid to do.

Looks like they have the right person helming the page as he does seem to have a sense of humor, which fits with the tone of the show.

And no! It’s impossible to peg them as an Eagles fan. There are no flags in this play. Sarcasm at its best.

And now it’s confirmed that the entire staff is behind the Twitter account that made promises it didn’t plan to keep.

As the game enters into the second half, Mahomes has to come out swinging or the Eagles look set to win. NFL fans are hoping for a great game and they just might get one the way the Chiefs have come out firing. Only time will tell.
