Driven by synths with relatively little layering, “Spacecats” follows the formula of a track that might come out through a label like Spinnin’ Records – although eccentric sound design characteristics make it feel like circus music of the future. For the curveballs he’s thrown his fans on tracks like “Wake Up The Sun,” however, his unconventional approach doesn’t come as that big of a surprise.

Ummet Ozcan‘s “Spacecats” doesn’t occur to us as a track that will change the face of progressive house, but that doesn’t mean the Turkish producer’s fans won’t look forward to hearing it in his DJ sets.
