While the trailers for season two of Daredevil have made it look like The Punisher joins Daredevil and Elektra to battle The Hand with all guns blazing, the way things actually play out is a lot cooler. Just as it looks like The Man Without Fear’s time is up, Frank guns down members of The Hand from afar, allowing the hero to deal with Nobu and emerge from this battle unscathed.
Seeing as Matt is unmasked during this sequence, it’s not clear whether or not The Punisher now knows his secret identity, but for the time being, it definitely appears as if these two have put their differences aside.
