After that superb first battle between Daredevil and The Punisher (I’ll get back to that a little later), the first episode ends on one hell of a cliffhanger when Frank shoots The Man Without Fear in the head at point blank range.
[zergpaid]While it’s not exactly hard to figure out that a show called Daredevil isn’t going to lose its lead at the very start of the season, this moment still came as a shock and put a real exclamation point on this version of The Punisher’s first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The later revelation that Frank knew that it wouldn’t kill the hero was also pretty cool.
