5) Fear The Walking Dead Season 1
I know, I know. Fear The Walking Dead has already finished its first run, as the season finale aired on October 4th, but if you missed this spinoff to The Walking Dead, you still have time to watch each of the first six episodes before Halloween rolls around.
And why wouldn’t you want to try Fear The Walking Dead? Despite a mixed response, The Walking Dead’s prequel became the highest-rated debut season of any series in cable history, and you don’t want to miss out on history being made… RIGHT? In all seriousness though, it’s hard to deny that the quality of this first season may have been uneven at times, but the highs definitely make it a show worth watching.
[zergpaid]Those put off by the slow pace of the first few episodes dove in expecting huge zombie shoot-outs akin to The Walking Dead, but they failed to realize that characterization is absolutely key in a show like this.
Fear The Walking Dead has taken its time to establish each character’s arc, and this already began to pay off in the season finale. The creepy suspense of the show will likely hit a faster pace once the group are inevitably marooned on the boat that we saw at the end of the first season, so now is the perfect time to jump on board.
