2) Cyborg
Starfire, Raven and Beast Boy all proved to be fantastic new recruits for the team, but the biggest addition that Wolfman and Perez made to the Teen Titans has be Victor Stone AKA Cyborg.
After being experimented on by his parents – or saved by them after a terrible accident, in modern continuity – Vic becomes a mechanical man. As well as super-stamina, strength and his cyborg eye that gives him super-vision, Cyborg also possesses a genius-level IQ, a handy sonic cannon and the ability to hack other tech. It’s really the man behind the metal that counts, though, as Cyborg’s often depicted as the reason the Titans stay together. For example, the team disbanded after he was deactivated in ’52.’
As of The New 52, Cyborg was deemed so important that he was rebooted as a founding member of the Justice League. That’s something that’s being kept for the movie version, where he’s played by Ray Fisher. Wider audiences might not know him as one, then, but to longtime DC readers, the Teen Titans is where Cyborg really belongs.
