4) Donna Troy
Donna Troy probably isn’t one of the most famous members of the Teen Titans, but she’s one of the most important. Just as the Justice League need Wonder Woman, the Teen Titans need her young protege.
Side-stepping her ever-retconned origin story, Donna’s usually known as Wonder Girl (though she’s also gone by Troija and Darkstar), possessing all the Amazonian powers of her mentor. As a founding member of the Titans, she’s a constant source of wisdom and compassion for the team. It was a huge blow to her friends then when she was murdered in battle in 2003’s Titans/Young Justice: Graduation Day.
Things have got even more complicated with Donna since The New 52, as she’s been reimagined as a living weapon made out of clay who was originally intended to kill Diana. Donna is currently dealing with the truth of her origins, though, thanks the support and friendship of the rest of the Titans.
A shout out must also go to Donna’s successor as Wonder Girl, Cassie Sandsmark, who formed part of a new trinity with Tim Drake and Conner Kent in the second generation of Titans.
