1) Cersei Lannister
Cersei is ready to burn the whole damn kingdom to the ground when we meet her in the season 6 premiere. The city is being taken over by the Faith Militant, she’s on trial for adultery, her daughter has been murdered, and the Tyrells are ready to pounce at any moment. It looks like we may witness a slight return to power for Cersei in the early part of season 6, but once Tommen is inevitably murdered, all hell will break lose. It’s going to be an absolute bloodbath.
Assuming Maggy the Frog’s prophecy is correct, Cersei is slated to die at the hands of her Valonqar, or “little brother.” She always assumed this would be Tyrion, but he is going to be stuck in Meereen for at least another season.
[zergpaid]It would be a perfect bit of Game of Thrones style irony for the Valonqar to be Jaime. Although they’re twins, Jaime is technically a few minutes younger than his sister. The Kingslayer may murder Cersei in order to once again save King’s Landing from a mad ruler intent on burning the whole place down.
There’s still some question as to if it will happen this year or next, but assuming Tommen perishes soon, season 6 might just be remembered as the downfall of Cersei Lannister.
