’90 Day Fiancé’: Are Jasmine and Gino still together?

The fact that the famously frenzied couple were ever stable is a miracle.

In just a few short years, Jasmine and Gino established themselves as one of the 90 Day Fiancé universe’s most chaotic couples, and as fans of the reality TV franchise know very well, the competition for that title is extremely stiff.

Debuting on the show in 2021, American citizen Gino Palazzolo and his Panamanian partner, Jasmine Pineda, have appeared on two seasons of the pre-engagement series 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days, before appearing on season ten of the main series, and later the follow-up show, 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, in its latest season.

Throughout their four separate TV seasons, Jasmine and Gino have broken up and made up more times than most viewers can count. Fans quickly found Gino’s attitude towards women to be creepy and degrading, and Jasmine’s explosive fits of anger spawned several viral videos online showing viewer’s disbelief at her behavior, as well as Gino’s poor attempts to de-escalate the situation by lying his way out of the disagreements.

From what we’ve seen on screen, it’s hard to tell whether the couple is coming or going, and many viewers will hope the two decide to throw in the towel and part ways for good. Here’s what we know about where the couple stands today.

Jasmine and Gino’s story

Jasmine and Gino first appeared on season 5 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days back in 2021, and the early episodes showcased the couple’s first real-life meeting in Jasmine’s native country of Panama. Early on, the limitations of online dating became very apparent, when Gino was shocked by Jasmine’s jealousy-fueled rages – although Gino’s actions with other women did not help matters. The American also had his own insecurities, such as constantly wearing hats in the hopes that his lover wouldn’t discover that he was bald.

Things quickly went from bad to worse when it was revealed that Gino sent nude photos of Jasmine to his ex-girlfriend without her consent, and ridiculed her in the same texts. When Jasmine confronted him about this, Gino resorted to gaslighting, insisting a topless photo somehow didn’t qualify as a nude, resulting in a physical fight where Jasmine hit her boyfriend before producers restrained her. However, the two patched things up and were engaged by the end of the season, returning for season six.

In the new season, the couple struggled to overcome jealousy issues early on in their relationship, as well as arguments over starting a family and their financial arrangements in the run-up to Jasmine coming to America under a K-1 fiancé visa. By the time Jasmine eventually arrived in Gino’s home state of Michigan in 90 Day Fiancé season 10, the same old arguments only intensified. While planning the nuptials, Gino found out Jasmine had spent $10,000 – meant for a wedding dress – on butt implant surgery.

To make matters worse, Dane, Jasmine’s ex, provided some funding for the procedure. During this explosive argument, old feelings about Gino distributing his fiancé’s nude photos came to the surface once more.

Jasmine and Gino returned as a married couple in another spin-off, 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season eight, which followed Jasmine’s attempted assimilation into the U.S. as a permanent resident. As Jasmine’s visa permitted her from working upon her arrival in the country, much of her focus this season was on participating in the Ms. International World pageant to occupy her time and give her a sense of confidence and purpose in America.

As Jasmine was financially dependent on Gino, not even having the ability to drive around and buy things for herself, the Panama native felt that Gino relished his control over her. Additionally, Jasmine told Gino’s family members that she did not feel emotionally supported by her husband since her arrival and that their intimacy had disappeared – leading to later accusations that Gino was ogling other women at the pageant and had a crippling addiction to pornography. Throughout all these heated exchanges, the deadline loomed for Gino to fill in Jasmine’s visa application for permanent residency, which would allow the Panama resident to be reunited with her children from a previous relationship in the U.S.

After the pageant in their shared hotel room, Jasmine – the newly crowned Ms. International World Latina – had a blowout argument with her husband, where the conflict over Gino’s lack of support and messing up of the visa application (which he still hadn’t completed) reached fever pitch. In their last filmed scene together, Jasmine walked out on her husband – possibly for good.

At the tell-all finale, filmed circa February 2024 – around two months after filming for season eight storylines wrapped – Jasmine and Gino arrived together at the joint house they shared with their fellow castmates, although they slept separately.

A major issue for the couple, especially when scrutinized by their co-stars and tell-all host Shaun Robinson, was their lack of intimacy – especially sexually. Gino expressed a reluctance to have sexual intercourse with his wife due to their constant arguing, promoting his cousin Dana (who was invited to the in-studio tell-all) to ask “ever heard of make-up sex?”

Much to the surprise of their castmates, Jasmine admitted that she’s never seen Gino naked. To her co-stars, it highlighted a lack of trust and transparency between the pair. Despite his family’s advice, Gino admitted it was difficult to open up in such a way to Jasmine when their relationship has been so fraught with negative attention. Although it certainly didn’t help that, according to Jasmine, Gino was watching pornography involving a former flame of his.

On the final night of the house share, the lack of sex between the pair – in which Gino was egged on by his male castmates to simply get over himself and do it with Jasmine – resulted in a house-wide argument, with Jasmine and Gino both in tears. However, some girl talk with her female co-stars encouraged Jasmine to see Gino’s reluctance to have sex without loving feelings could be a very positive thing.

At the final in-studio tell-all, Jasmine underwent a lie detector test, in which it was confirmed that the Panama native was genuinely very attracted to her husband, had never cheated on Gino, and was committed to making their marriage work – much to Gino’s delight, rewarding Jasmine with a loving kiss. The couple appeared to have ended their time on Happily Ever After season eight on good terms – but some post-wrap speculation seems to suggest a very different story.

Are Jasmine and Gino still together in 2024?

Several outlets reported in January 2024 that Jasmine and Gino had separated, which would not fit the timeline of the tell-all being filmed in February of that year – a fact confirmed in the final episode, when it was confirmed that fellow cast member Michael Illesanmi briefly went missing just days after filming for the tell-all wrapped.

In more recent times, Jasmine has been linked to Illesanmi, as well as an American man who attends the gym she frequents in the series, but both Michael and Jasmine have stated they’re just friends. Gino has been notably absent from Jasmine’s Instagram page, which she is very active on. The last sighting of Gino was in a photo of their wedding posted in June 2024, celebrating their anniversary. However, this is an old photo, and there appears to be no more recent images of them.

More recently, it has been speculated that Gino is seeing a new woman – said to be named Kelly Wagner, as spotted in flirtatious back-and-forth comments on the American’s Instagram page. Gino has been spotted filming with another woman (although uncertain if it is Wagner) in public recently, for what is alleged to be another 90 Day Fiancé series – so whatever this filming project may be, all should be revealed about where Jasmine and Gino’s relationship stands very soon.
