Introduced in the very first season of Below Deck Mediterranean, Hannah Ferrier quickly became a familiar face on the reality TV series. As Chief Stew, she accompanied a group of young people aboard yachts for five whole seasons, publicly facing the ongoing challenges they had while sharing limited space in the middle of the sea with strangers.
In a surprising turn of events, Ferrier was unexpectedly fired in 2017, despite her popularity and consistent presence on the show throughout five seasons. Many fans speculated that her dismissal was connected to her onboard use of CBD and Valium. However, the real reason behind her departure was her lack of trustworthiness and inability to perform effectively while not sober. Since then, Ferrier’s life has been somewhat of a mystery, but fortunately, she has managed to turn her life around, and here’s what she’s been up to.
What is Hannah Ferrier doing now?
Keeping a relatively low profile albeit with a successful career, the Below Deck star went from dismissee to cruise director, loving wife, devoted mother, and fitness guru. A few years after the stewardess left the deck, Ferrier and her then-boyfriend Josh Roberts, an acclaimed author, announced the born of their first child together, daughter Ava Grace Roberts. Not long after, the couple tied the knot in a loving beach ceremony after four years of dating.
During this time, the star also kept a relatively active social media presence, becoming well-known for her fitness journey as she opened up about losing the baby weight, opening up about her fitness goals, and the entire journey with her health and her newfound love for the gym life. Aside from social media, the influencer has also kept a successful podcast afloat, titled Dear Reality, You’re Effed!, which currently holds an incredibly high rating on her Apple podcast page.
As for reality tv, Ferrier announced her return to television on June 2022. The star confirmed, via her social media accounts, that she would make a triumphant return to television through the dating show The Real Love Boat Australia, where she would be consistently appearing as the cruise director, joining her love for reality television and cruising together. Not long after, in October, the show aired its first-ever episode on Bravo.
In the end, everything worked out for the former stewardess, as she continues to keep up with her live television stints in The Real Love Boat Australia alongside the host Darren McCullen. With a healthy mix of work and personal life Ferrier can happily proclaim her success as a health and fitness influencer, a doting mother and wife, and of course, a fantastic provider for the family.
