Though this may have been an inadvertent reveal, the synopsis for season 3, episode 20 of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has actually given away some pretty spoiler-y details about the resolution of Captain America: Civil War.
It’s common knowledge that the reason Cap and Iron Man are fighting in the first place has to do with the Sokovia Accords, which if signed, would force all enhanced humans to register and become answerable to a government body.
[zergpaid]Now, in an effort to promote itself as a Civil War tie-in, the breakdown below for the May 10th instalment of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has revealed the ultimate outcome of the battle.
“Emancipation” – With only two episodes left before S.H.I.E.L.D. loses one of their own, Daisy’s prophecy ticks closer towards a major loss, as the aftermath of the events of “Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War” force S.H.I.E.L.D. to register the Inhumans, on “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” TUESDAY, MAY 10 (9:00-10:00 p.m. EDT), on the ABC Television Network.
So, yeah… Iron Man wins. Obviously the specifics of how and why that happens remain unspoiled, but this is still a pretty big reveal for anyone who has yet to see the film.
