Specific details on Marvel’s forthcoming Netflix series, Daredevil, have been kept under a veil for some time now. However, the tide is beginning to turn on Matt Murdock’s small screen debut. Along with a crop of new images that arrived this morning, you can now delight in a brand new motion poster. Posted to the official Daredevil Twitter, it teases no alternative for the suave New Yorker:
The evil that crowds Hell’s Kitchen gives me no alternative. #Daredevil https://t.co/ChgqwuGiYY

The short, sweet tease is a cheeky glimpse at Charlie Cox’s portrayal of the super hero lawyer. But as the show’s premiere date edges closer there’s one matter that needs resolving; where exactly will the series slot into Marvel’s gigantic universe?
Chronologically, it will follow on from the events depicted in The Avengers. “We are still part of the Marvel Universe,” Marvel Television’s Emma Fleischer explained to Empire Magazine (via CBM), “but we are not explicitly in that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. world. We’re in our own corner. So the aliens came down and ruined the city, and this is the story of Hell’s Kitchen’s rebuild.”
All ten episodes of Marvel’s Daredevil will be available on Netflix April 10th. Will you be tuning in?
“Marvel’s Daredevil” follows the journey of Matt Murdock, who was blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, now fighting against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the super hero Daredevil in modern day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City. The series stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson with Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple and Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk.
Marvel’s first original series on Netflix is Executive Produced by series Showrunner Steven S. DeKnight (“Spartacus,” “Buffy: The Vampire Slayer,” “Angel”) and Drew Goddard (“Cabin in the Woods,” “Lost,” “Buffy The Vampire Slayer,” in addition to writing the first two episodes of “Marvel’s Daredevil”), along with Marvel TV’s Jeph Loeb (“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” “Marvel’s Agent Carter,” “Lost”).
