Yes, as IGN’s trailer premiere reveals, Ash Vs. Evil Dead season 3 will place Bruce Campbell’s one-armed legend in the company of his long-lost daughter, Brandy Barr, played by newcomer Arielle Carver-O’Neill. The mother? Candy Barr – no, really – and just yesterday, the folks over at Arrow in the Head uncovered an early peek at Ash’s former flame. It’s clearly taken from a flashback scene, as below you’ll find a close-up of Campbell’s urban legend rocking a mustache and some serious sideburns.

Candy Barr, meanwhile, will be brought to life by Katrina Hobbs. Up above, you’ll catch a glimpse of her in action alongside the fresh-faced Brandy, who immediately becomes an easy target for Ruby and her army of Deadites. And, well, if there’s one thing Ash Vs. Evil Dead has taught us, it’s that you don’t mess with the king.

Evil is hunting down Ash’s offspring, and as the following synopsis warns, it would be unwise to come between a papa bear and his cub – you know, even if they are still getting to know each other.

The third season finds Ash, having gone from murderous urban legend to humanity-saving hometown hero, discovering that he has a long-lost daughter who’s been entrusted to his care. When Kelly witnesses a televised massacre with Ruby’s fingerprints all over it, she returns with a new friend to warn Ash and Pablo that evil isn’t done with them yet. But evil will learn to never get in between a papa bear and his cub.

Hail to the king, baby! Ash vs Evil Dead season 3 will premiere day and date with AMC’s The Walking Dead on Sunday, February 25th. Those who prefer to get their undead action on the go will be happy to note that all episodes of Starz’s horror hit will be available to stream and/or download via the official app.
