Beauty And The Beast Review: “Don’t Die On Me” (Season 2, Episode 9)

It’s a bittersweet return for our favorite star-crossed lovers as Beauty and the Beast once again pumps the brakes on their epic romance. Vincent (Jay Ryan) and Catherine (Kristen Kreuk) have called it quits after the beast came out to play on the mid-season finale, choosing his revenge on Cat's father over his own humanity. Naturally, I can see why that would be a relationship killer, even under the best of circumstances.

It’s a bittersweet return for our favorite star-crossed lovers as Beauty and the Beast once again pumps the brakes on their epic romance. Vincent (Jay Ryan) and Catherine (Kristen Kreuk) have called it quits after the beast came out to play on the mid-season finale, choosing his revenge on Cat’s father over his own humanity. In the long run, it actually looks like this unfortunate memory will turn out to be the best thing that’s ever happened to Vincent (barring from the list meeting Cat that is). In a long, drawn out (and probably extremely painful) debate about what to do with Vincent, who was clearly in worse shape than he was willing to admit, he wound up both saving the day and in the hospital.

You may recall that up to this point the hospital was a no-go with Muirfield hunting him and the whole supposedly being dead thing not on his side, but finally he is starting to reclaim his life – and the first step is openly admitting that he’s alive.
