Breaking Bad Series Finale Promises To Tie Up Loose Ends

Breaking Bad is set to return this Summer and begin its run of the final eight episodes which will close out the series. Of course, seeing as the show is going to be coming to an end after the Summer, it's safe to assume that we'll have some kind of conclusion to Walter White's story. That's a given. But now, we're hearing that luckily, the show won't be leaving any loose ends.

Breaking Bad is set to return this Summer and begin its run of the final eight episodes which will close out the series. Of course, seeing as the show is going to be coming to an end, it’s safe to assume that we’ll have some kind of conclusion to Walter White’s story. That’s a given. But now, we’re hearing that luckily, the show won’t be leaving any loose ends.

Bob Odenkirk, who plays Saul the lawyer, spoke to Vulture and had the following to say about the show’s conclusion:

I’ve been told that the ending is really surprising and really satisfying and you can’t believe the number of loose ends that get wrapped up. That’s all hearsay, though, because I didn’t read it. I dumped it in the trash, and then I dumped out the trash.

We’ve heard from creator Vince Gilligan that the finale will be polarizing and that it will deal with the entirety of the show’s story, not just Walter’s arc, so hopefully we really do see all the loose ends tied up. After the midseason finale, there was definitely a lot of things left up in the air and when the show returns, it will have a lot to take care of. Hopefully the writers can do so and can do so in an effective and tidy manner.

Closing out a show is always a hard task, especially when it’s a show as beloved and critically acclaimed as Breaking Bad is. We’ve come a long way since we first met Walter White the chemistry teacher. So much has happened and to think that Gilligan now has to come up with a satisfactory ending for Walter’s chaotic tale, well, let’s just say that we don’t envy his job right now. It’s gotta be difficult. That being said, the writing on this show is brilliant and there’s no reason to doubt that what’s been cooked up for the finale will be anything less than excellent.
