Tonight’s episode of The Flash ended on a pretty huge cliffhanger as the Scarlet Speedster was attacked by Savitar and Wally West seemingly began his transformation into Kid-Flash. Unfortunately, neither of those particular plot points are addressed in the gallery above, but we do get to see Caitlin Snow start to turn into Killer Frost.
That’s been on the cards for a while now, but it appears as if she’s finally going to start giving in to the villainous nature that her powers have helped manifest. That’s going to be bad news for The Flash and his friends, and it appears as if even Julian Dorn will end up coming under fire from her. Will we see the fully transformed Killer Frost take on Vibe as Cisco predicted though?
For more details on what to expect from this episode of The Flash – which is rather appropriately titled “Killer Frost” – here’s the official synopsis.
Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) uses her powers to save Barry (Grant Gustin) but as her mother predicted, the effort unleashes her inner Killer Frost. Killer Frost goes on a rampage looking for Dr. Alchemy, kidnapping Julian (Tom Felton) and battling both The Flash and Vibe (Carlos Valdes). Meanwhile, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and H.R. (Tom Cavanagh) have a heart to heart talk. Kevin Smith directed the episode with story by Judalina Neira and teleplay by Andrew Kreisberg & Brooke Roberts.
Season 3 of The Flash has thrown a lot of curveballs our way thus far, so it’s going to be interesting to see whether or not Caitlin ends up becoming a villain or takes Killer Frost down a different route. With any luck, it will be the latter, as it would be a great shame to lose such an important member of the Scarlet Speedster’s team, don’t you think?
