Here’s A Closer Look At Those Live Action Titans Costumes

Earlier this week, an image found its way online pertaining to the upcoming live action Titans series showing us the full team in something that wasn't shot by paparazzi. Though technically an amateur photo itself, it captured the front end of the DC Universe offsite experience set to open its doors as part of the San Diego Comic-Con celebration.

As per usual, more goodies have now hit the web before the studio officially rolls out anything having to do with someone other than Robin. Really, it’s like they want us to forget that he’s seemingly the only one in the pack sporting a good costume. And funny enough, he’s in his civilian attire here as to not upstage his cohorts.

Thanks to ComicBook.com, we’ve been given a closer look at the setup we spoke of earlier. Below you can find Brenton Thwaites’ Dick Grayson being joined by Raven (Teagan Croft), Koriand’r/Starfire (Anna Diop) and Garfield Logan/Beast Boy (Ryan Potter). Though it’s yet another example of something to be filed under “when cosplayers do it better,” the handful of pictures are highly appreciated.

If this isn’t enough for those of you fortunate enough to attend the pop culture extravaganza though, know that Robin’s actual costume is on full display somewhere on the premises, so you should definitely keep an eye out for it while you make your rounds.

For more, be sure to check out the official synopsis for the series:

“Titans follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find belonging in a gritty take on the classic Teen Titans franchise. Dick Grayson and Rachel Roth, a special young girl possessed by a strange darkness, get embroiled in a conspiracy that could bring Hell on Earth. Joining them along the way are the hot-headed Starfire and lovable Beast Boy. Together they become a surrogate family and team of heroes.”

The DC Universe streaming service – Titans included –  is set to launch sometime this fall via iOS, Android, Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and Android TV, in addition to offering online and mobile access. Will you be subscribing to it? Be sure to let us know in the usual place.
