To briefly recap, both Tyler Hoechlin and Brandon Routh will suit up as different iterations of Superman, with the latter portraying the Man of Steel from the Kingdom Come timeline. And if that weren’t enough, LaMonica Garrett’s pulling double duty as the Monitor and Anti-Monitor, Elizabeth Tulloch returns as Lois Lane, Batman ’66 alum Burt Ward will show up, and – get this – Tom Welling and Lynda Carter are supposedly joining the party as well! That’s a whole lot of awesomeness, for sure.

Now, to put yet another cherry on top, Cosmic Book News reports that at least two cast members from Titans will show up in order to truly establish the multiverse idea. Keep in mind they say this info comes by way of a source different from the one who’d been feeding them other recent “Crisis” scoops. And since nothing’s been confirmed by the studio, it should be treated as rumor for the time being.

According to CBN and their person on the inside, the reason only two Titans will be included is because this event is getting pretty crowded, therefore the Powers That Be don’t want the story to get too convoluted. If this does pan out though, I’d imagine the young heroes will probably feature in a cameo appearance at best.

Should your memory serve you well, then you’ll probably bring up how this contradicts reports from earlier this year saying the Arrowverse likely wouldn’t crossover with any DC Universe shows. That could hold true, yes, but the winds do change pretty often in Burbank, so one can never be too sure.

Titans returns for its second season on Friday, September 6th on DC Universe, whereas “Crisis on Infinite Earths” kicks off on The CW later this fall, probably in December.
