The marketing strategy for Netflix and Marvel’s Daredevil has thus far revolved around its main man. Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock has taken center stage in all of the regular posters, motion posters and trailers. However, the canvas of the show is beginning to broaden, as this newest motion poster offers up some interesting reveals as well as incorporating the rest of the cast that’s surrounding Cox.
Aside from the generally cool visuals – which all of the moving posters contain – this sneakiest peek packs in a few tidbits pointing toward the larger Marvel world. While it’s been stated that Marvel’s small screen efforts won’t interconnect with its gigantic Cinematic Universe, that hasn’t quashed the appearance of one recognizable landmark. In addition, Murdock’s final costume as the titular Daredevil can be spotted reflecting up from the puddle at his feet.
