With the Disney Plus and Hulu “one app experience” coming, both platforms are shaking things up right now in a way that has customers on edge. After it dealt Marvel’s Runaways a double betrayal in the dead of night with no warning, fans are understandably concerned that another equally loved series is next in line on the chopping block.

At the moment, Disney Plus and Hulu subscribers are baffled that their favorite show, Runaways, is gone but Inhumans, with its poor 11% Rotten Tomatoes score still remains on the platforms. It is clear which one is a fan and critic favorite of the two and yet, both Disney Plus and Hulu thought it would be a good idea to disappoint their subscribers as much as humanly possible. So, the real question is what is stopping the former from doing it again?

With that knowledge in the back of their minds, subscribers are now worrying if the disappearance of Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger is also coming. After all, its Tomatometer is at 87%, which makes it exactly what Disney Plus is currently hunting.

If this conversation was taking place in Las Vegas, the money would be flying because some fans are ready to place their bets.

Starring Aubrey Joseph, Olivia Holt, Miles Mussenden, and Emma Lahana, Cloak & Dagger is not everyone’s cup of tea but it’s easy to tell who has passion for the show.

This fan is already calling it a day because they can see the writing on the wall. If Runaways goes, then Cloak & Dagger won’t be far behind.

Many streamers have been blamed for specifically canceling shows with POC characters. Some similar accusations are being leveled at Disney Plus for removing Runaways and in case it is planning to ditch Cloak & Dagger as well. But no matter how much someone loves a show, its future hinges on a big factor β€” the number of views it gets.

Though, at this point, Cloak & Dagger fans have nothing to worry about, given the hush-hush deletion of Runaways, it is better to keep your fingers crossed.
