The 100-minute interactive experience allows groups of 4-6 to solve a crime, masterminded by the nefarious Jim Moriarty, no less, with the guidance of Sherlock Holmes, John Watson and Mycroft Holmes themselves. Yes, Andrew Scott, Benedict Cumberbatch, Martin Freeman and Mark Gatiss filmed specially recorded scenes for the escape room.

To get a taste of what’s in store in the event, titled The Game is Now, check out the trailer below, which makes it clear that this is something that both Sherlockian super-fans and those without an encyclopedic knowledge of Baker Street can enjoy.

For more, here’s how the escape room’s official website describes what players can expect:

Don your deerstalker and dive into an all-new mystery brought to you by series creators Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss, in collaboration with Time Run, renowned escape room pioneers.

Enter into the world of Sherlock with immersive sets and environments from the show, as you work together as a team to solve mysteries and puzzles before time runs out.

Tickets cost £54 and the escape room’s open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 10pm. If you’re dying to try it out for yourself but aren’t in the area just yet, don’t worry, as the event’s currently scheduled to stay open until the end of May.

If you’re still holding out for the show proper, though, it doesn’t look like new Sherlock is coming anytime soon, what with both Cumberbatch and Freeman enjoying massive success in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, Moffat and Gatiss are working on a different TV series that puts a new spin on a Victorian classic, as Dracula is due to start filming very soon.

In the meantime, be sure to check out The Game is Now if you still need a fix of everyone’s favorite detective.
