Although Gotham sure has had a lot to offer as of late, it’s hard for one not to take their eyes off the unfolding situation involving Jeremiah Valeska. After all, the Joker is arguably the most popular of all Batman villains, so a new take on his origin is bound to turn more than a few heads, right?
While we did see the emergence of the Clown Prince of Crime near the end of last night’s episode, it’s quickly becoming apparent that he’ll evolve in the coming weeks. Already, he’s proven to be quite the sharp dresser we’d expect, but there are still a few finishing touches to be made.
Thanks to this freshly released batch of images culled from May 17’s season finale, we’re able to see Jeremiah donning some threads that are even more Joker-like than what we’ve already glimpsed. In fact, it looks like he may even have some green dye in his hair, thus getting rid of his natural red.
Additionally, it appears Jim Gordon is lighting the Bat Signal – or, at least, an early version of it. Not long ago, Bruce Wayne was gifted with what we could see as a precursor to the Batmobile, so it only makes sense that the producers allow another piece of the puzzle to fall into place.
