The moment has finally arrived for possibly one of the most intriguing shows of the year, with a gripping storyline set to grace our screens soon. If you’re in the mood to dive into the enthralling world of 1970s Rock ‘n’ Roll, and the emergence of some of the most celebrated bands of the era, then Daisy Jones & The Six could definitely match your expectations.
The upcoming series partnered with Hollywood star Reese Witherspoon in 2018, tapping her production company Hello Sunshine, which is responsible for the production of some of the most talked about screen-to-book adaptations. These include several well-known series including as Little Fires Everywhere and Where the Crawdads Sing.
Based on the bestselling novels by Taylor Jenkins Reid, the series portrays the rise and fall of a fictional 70s band, The Six. Details about the show remain scarce so far, apart from news that it mostly revolves around the band’s two leading singers, Daisy Jones (Riley Keough) and Billy Dunne (Sam Claflin), and how they navigate fame, challenges, and relationships.

In 1977, Daisy Jones & The Six were on top of the world. Fronted by two charismatic lead singers — Daisy Jones and Billy Dunne — the band had risen from obscurity to fame. And then, after a sold-out show at Chicago’s Soldier Field, they called it quits. Now, decades later, the band members finally agree to reveal the truth. This is the story of how an iconic band imploded at the height of its powers.

The show’s plot is attracting incredible amounts of attention, and details about the time and number of episodes are broadly sought-after. Daisy Jones and The Six is a miniseries that consists of 10 episodes in total. It will be released on Friday, March 3, 2023, at 12am ET. By March 24, the entire miniseries will be viewable on Prime.
A total of three episodes will drop on the first day of the show’s release, on March 3. There is a gap of one week between the release of each round of episodes. Three more episodes will drop on March 10, followed by two episodes each on March 17 and March 24, which will also include the series finale.

The exact running time of each episode is unknown at the moment, but going by the standard miniseries expectation, each episode will likely be a maximum of one hour long.
Comprising an impressive cast including Riley Keough, Me Before You star Sam Claflin, Suki Waterhouse, and Will Harrison, to name a few, the show will contain a total of 24 original songs and a promising soundtrack. With confirmation of the release and plot details, viewers are looking forward to what the miniseries has in store for them.
