Jennifer Rocks Her New Costume In Black Lightning Season Finale Photos

Fast forward three months later, and the moment we’ve all been waiting for arrives during Black Lightning‘s second season finale. On the plus side, one could say the wait was worth it because we got to see the character of Jennifer Pierce develop even further, as opposed to just slapping a costume on her. Those who’ve been keeping up with the show remember how Anissa went through her own trials during the first season before becoming Thunder, and now her younger sibling has had the chance to do likewise.

In preparation for the big debut, the network has released a generous amount of images from said finale. Found in the gallery below, a good amount of them showcase Jennifer in her Lightning threads. Others, meanwhile, do feature her father and sister, so don’t think they were forgotten.

Interestingly enough, there’s nothing to be found hinting at the unfolding situation involving La-La and Tobias Whale, though I’m guessing the Powers That Be are holding that stuff close to the vest. And though the series has indeed been renewed for a third season, let’s hope that a lot of plot threads get wrapped up before the hiatus begins.
