Marvel and Netflix are gearing up to begin promoting their Jessica Jones TV series, and ahead of any official reveals, showrunner Melissa Rosenberg has been dropping a few very interesting details during a round of recent interviews. In fact, while chatting to ET Online, Rosenberg revealed the most juicy tidbits about the show so far.
In the Alias comics, Jones starts out as an active superhero and takes the mantles of Jewel and Knightress before ditching the tights and moving on to private investigations. That’s where we’ll find her when the show kicks off, but Rosenberg hints that that we’ll get to see actress Krystin Ritter in costume at some point – most likely through flashback.
The bigger news, however, relates to that crossover with Daredevil that we’ve been hearing about. In regards to that, Rosenberg confirms that at least one character from that show will feature in Jessica Jones: Matt Murdock’s trashcan savior and all-round nurse of the night, Claire Temple.
“I think I’m allowed to say: Rosario Dawson will be dropping in,” Rosenberg told the site.”Smaller characters that populated that world will be popping in.”
Who else could she mean? Well, that’s all up for speculation, as is the manner in which Temple will be introduced – but it’s worth noting that she was a girlfriend of Luke cage (Mike Colter) in the comics at one stage…..
