While we know that Vincent D’Onofrio’s bald-headed baddie Wilson Fisk (aka Kingpin) will deliver the overarcing evil, there’s still plenty of room for more dastardly villains in the grimy back alleys and streets of Hell’s Kitchen. The six new characters include Person Of Interest star Rob Morgan, who will play Turk Barrett, a smalltime criminal in Hell’s Kitchen; and Dexter‘s Matt Gerald as Melvin Potter, a machinist caught between a rock and a hard place.

In addition, a new foursome has been announced in the shape of Fisk’s lackeys. Falling Skies‘ Peter Shinkoda will play Nobu, a Japanese businessman with an agenda all his own; Blue Bloods‘ Wai Ching Ho is cast as Madame Gao, a powerful woman running her own trade; while Nikolai Nikolaeff and Gideon Emery have joined as Russian siblings Vladimir and Anatoly, who are seeking refuge in America.

For those unfamiliar with the comic canon, the names might not be recognizable. However, considering the show is touted as a gritty reboot of Daredevil’s origin, we’d say that all bets are off anyway as many fan favorite characters could be subjected to reboots of their own.

Daredevil hits Netflix on April 10.

“Marvel’s Daredevil” follows the journey of Matt Murdock, who was blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, now fighting against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the super hero Daredevil in modern day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City. The series stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson with Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple and Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk.

Marvel’s first original series on Netflix is Executive Produced by series Showrunner Steven S. DeKnight (“Spartacus,” “Buffy: The Vampire Slayer,” “Angel”) and Drew Goddard (“Cabin in the Woods,” “Lost,” “Buffy The Vampire Slayer,” in addition to writing the first two episodes of “Marvel’s Daredevil”), along with Marvel TV’s Jeph Loeb (“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” “Marvel’s Agent Carter,” “Lost”).
