Modern Family Leads Critics’ Choice Television Award Nominees

The Broadcast Television Journalists Association announced the nominees this morning for the inaugural Critics' Choice Television Awards with Modern Family leading the pack. The ABC comedy series garnered six nominations, including acting nods for Ty Burrell, Ed O’Neill, Eric Stonestreet, Julie Bowen and Sofia Vergara. The nominees included genre shows often overlooked by the Emmys. Critically acclaimed sci-fi show Fringe received a nod for best drama series and actors Anna Torv and John Noble were acknowledged for their work on the show.
