New DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow Promo Offers Best Look Yet At Season Finale

Although The CW already put out an extended promo for the season finale of DC's Legends of Tomorrow a few days ago, they've thankfully decided to drop something considerably meatier knowing that this episode will be a bit of a game changer in addition to being the last episode to air until the fall. As such, they probably want to pull in as many viewers as they can.

Seeing as how Eobard Thawne not only rewrote reality in this week’s episode and then threw salt in the wound by destroying the Spear of Destiny, the Waverider crew has been left with no choice but to travel back to an exact time they’ve already visited and attempt to prevent the powerful artifact from ever falling into the hands of the Legion of Doom. Knowing that they’ll interact with earlier versions of themselves, I can’t help but wonder what would happen if past Martin Stein tried to merge with present Jax in order to form Firestorm. Would reality collapse?

Anyway, another appearance by Black Flash is further teased, causing us all to believe he’ll finally catch up with the Reverse Flash once the heroes save the day. If so, that begs the question if the character will ever possibly appear again on this show or The Flash. Oh, who am I kidding? They’ll always find some pseudo-scientific way to bring him back.

In order to try and fix what has happened, they are forced to break the one cardinal rule of time travel. But if they are able to destroy the spear, they will face the ultimate consequence.
