The latest batch of bronzed, groomed, and swimsuit-wearing Islanders are on their way to Mallorca for Love Island season 10 next week. The latest installment of the reality show smash hit promises to be one of the most dramatic and sexiest yet, with a group of powerfully hot contestants all eager to find the love of their life in the villa.
But, let’s face it, Love Island is a straight ticket to stardom, so many of them will be hoping to walk away from the show with not just a partner but a swathe of sponsorship deals and money-making opportunities. However, it turns out that at least one contestant, 23-year-old Ella Thomas has already had a brush with the A-list. Speaking to The Mirror, Thomas revealed that at the age of 12 she not only appeared in 2013’s World War Z but got to meet Brad Pitt along the way:
“I was once an extra in World War Z. I was 12 years old when I filmed it and got to meet Brad Pitt which was cool.”
World War Z had a ridiculous amount of extras so you’re unlikely to spot her on screen, though suffice it to say that any experience with groups of drooling, flesh-hungry monsters will stand her in good stead when dealing with the Love Island male contestants when she enters the villa.
Aside from this, Thomas has also appeared in music videos for Burna Boy and Headie One, as well as winning the Female Model of the Year award at the Scottish Media Awards in October 2022. Thomas was also adamant that she was not here for some fling, saying: “I’d let the boys know that I’m wifey material so don’t play with me!”
Love Island will begin on ITV2 on June 5.
