“The only way forward is to go back,” whispers Tatiana Maslany’s Sarah Manning in BBC America’s stirring new promo for Orphan Black season 4.
Stoking excitement for the show’s anticipated return in April, today’s snippet has Sarah taking a tumble down the rabbit hole. An overused trope though that many be, Orphan Black season 4 will send Maslany’s lead character on a gruelling hunt to find the original clone that started it all.
30 seconds isn’t an awful lot to pick apart, though it’s still a notable step up from the optical teaser that debuted before the turn of the year, illustrating Maslany’s multi-faceted role that’s drawn unanimous praise even when the show around her has faltered. With that in mind, here’s hoping that BBC America are heralding a return to form with the upcoming season, which ought to get a tangible trailer in the coming weeks.
