These faces look familiar, don't they?

No fan of action drama series can let Fire Country pass them by without at least giving it a shot. The CBS show lands in the same wheelhouse as Firehouse, Chicago Fire, and 9-1-1 but with less accuracy, which has gotten its showrunners and writers in some hot waters since its debut in October 2022. Despite being met with mixed reviews, though, Fire Country sparked the interest of a loyal crowd of viewers, who have since then become hooked on Bode Donovan’s story of redemption.

Alongside the convict played by Max Thieriot, the show has a strong cast of main characters who are part of the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, and that help make the series what it is today. As is the case with any other show, when the audience gets invested in a certain character, they want to know more about the person who brings them to life and waste little time searching for answers. While for some viewers many of the faces on screen might be unfamiliar, for others, the question is more about where they’ve seen that face or heard that voice before. So, with all that in mind, we’ve created a list of the main cast members of Fire Country, with information about some of their most memorable roles on TV and film. Fun fact: A lot of them will likely ring a bell.

Max Thieriot

Before co-creating and starring in Fire Country, Max Thieriot had already made quite a few appearances on TV and film. The 34-year-old actor, winemaker, and former GAP model began his career nearly two decades ago, playing the role of Gus in the comedy movie Catch That Kid. Since then, acting became Thieriot’s main focus, and he was cast in several other features, such as The Pacifier, where he played Seth Plummer, Nancy Drew, in the role of Ned Nickerson, and Jumper, as a young version of David Rice.

On the small screen, the actor took the lead roles in two series before Fire Country, starring as Dylan Massett in Bates Motel and Clay Spencer in SEAL Team. In these shows, Thieriot also dipped his toes into the directing world for a few episodes; something he took the opportunity to do again in episode 21 of Fire Country, “Backfire.”

Stephanie Arcila

Stephanie Arcila is a 33-year-old American actress, who has been active since 2010. Her first role was in an episode of the soap opera Aurora, in which Arcila played Brenda, and from then on, she made several short-lived appearances in shows like Supergirl, as an unnamed woman, NCIS, as Danielle, and Black-ish, as Ms. Gomez. Some of Arcila’s best-known works, though, are for roles like Bernardette Romero in Penny Dreadful: City of Angels, Mami in Here and Now, and Hernandez in the film Don’t Breathe 2.

If you thought acting is all Arcila can do, however, think again. In 2017, she lent her voice to the character of Juliet Watson, in the Spanish version of the video game Life is Strange: Before the Storm.

Kevin Alejandro

Active since 2002, Kevin Alejandro is a Latin-American actor who has played many roles on TV in his 47 years of life. His debut role was in the movie Purgatory Flats, where he played Owen Mecklin; however, some of his most memorable characters are from hit shows such as Arrow, in which he played Sebastian Blood, Lucifer, as Daniel Espinóza, and True Blood, as Jesús Velázquez. Dedicated TV enthusiasts might also recognize them from appearances in Bones, Grey’s Anatomy, Heroes, Ugly Betty, and CSI: New York. Over the years, Alejandro has also directed two short films, titled Take Me Home and Bedtime Story, as well as three episodes of Lucifer.

Jordan Calloway was born in 1990 and made his acting debut at only 10 years old, as Jerel Jr. in an episode of the American sitcom The Parkers. It wasn’t until four years later, though, that the actor landed his first major TV role, playing Zack Carter-Schwartz in the Nickelodeon show Unfabulous. Naturally, his list of appearances on TV and film grew steadily with time, and currently, some of Calloway’s most prominent roles include Chuck Clayton in Riverdale, Khalil Payne in Black Lightning, Kevin McArdle in Beyond, and K.J. Thibeaux in ER.

Jules Latimer

Much less is publicly known about Jules Latimer in comparison with their fellow cast members, especially when it comes to personal life details. Before Fire Country, the artist was cast in Guilty Party, a 2021 mystery and comedy show in which they played the role of Toni Plimpton. They’re also a part of an upcoming Netflix film, Rustin, as Joyce Ladner.

Diane Farr

Diane Farr’s very first TV show role was as an unnamed production assistant, in the 1992 crime drama Silk Stalkings. After, the actress appeared in shows like Californication, as Jill Robinson, Splitting Up Together, as Maya, The Good Doctor, as Jean Starzac, Numb3rs, as Megan Reeves, and Rescue Me, in the role of Laura Miles.

When she’s not acting, Farr seems to dedicate herself to writing, being now a published author. So far, she has written two books — The Girl Code, published in 2001, and Kissing Outside the Lines, released a decade later. Over the years, Farr has also extended her writing talents to magazines, newspaper columns, and comedy series scripts, such as AssCastles.

Billy Burke

Currently at 56 years of age, Billy Burke has an extensive list of acting credits under his belt, but without a doubt, his most widely-known role is as Bella’s father, Charlie Swan, in the Twilight movie franchise. His career began way back in 1990, however, when Burke landed the role of Dante of the Three D’s in the film Daredreamer, and since then, he went on to make frequent appearances on the silver screen, with movies such as Red Riding Hood, Breaking In, and Lights Out.

On TV, Burke has been involved in many well-known projects, such as Gilmore Girls, in which he played Alex Lesman, Law & Order, in the role of Attorney Farmer, Revolution, as Miles Matheson, 9-1-1: Lone Star, as Captain Billy Tyson, and Maid, playing Hank Russell.
