The force is strong with Google.
While the Mandalorian himself, Din Djarin, struggles to keep Grogu on his best behavior, you don’t need to do such impossible tasks. In fact, you can now encourage Grogu to be on his worst behavior.
Better known as Baby Yoda, even though he is not Yoda, little green Grogu stole the hearts of Star Wars fans, and even non-Star Wars fans, when his character first debuted in the premiere episode of The Mandalorian way back in the pre-pandemic days of 2019, which coincidentally feels like a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.
Grogu, who is actually 50 years old (his species lives for several hundred years, hence the little kid vibes) has been cared for by the bounty hunter Din Djarin ever since that debut episode. The entire plot thereafter is basically patterned after the award-winning 1970s Japanese manga Lone Wolf & Cub, which spawned multiple TV series and several feature films.
Want to cause some destruction with little Grogu? Here’s the cool Google trick you can easily do on your own.
First, go to Google, then type in “Mandalorian” or “The Mandalorian” in the search bar.
Wait for a second and you should see little Grogu pop up on the bottom right-hand corner of your screen. Now, tap him (either with your finger or the cursor, depending on your device). Watch what happens.
Grogu will use the force to destroy the first thing in your Google search, which will likely be photos of The Mandalorian cast. Tap him again and he uses the force to destroy whatever is beneath that. If you want him to destroy more stuff, just keep scrolling down and tap him again.
You literally control Grogu with your fingertips.
If such cool things keep happening then maybe, just maybe, Lucasfilm will change Han Solo’s scream of “Yahoo!” in the original Star Wars to “Google!”
