Kim Cattrall is Madolyn Addison in the upcoming Netflix series Glamorous, and with a newly released extended first look at the feel-good drama, beauty fans have a lot to be excited about.
Tudum shared seven minutes of the premiere episode with fans just hours ago, and we’ve learned a lot about the characters already. Glamorous follows Marco Mejia, a masterful artist of all things beauty with a dream to be a top influencer. Working at a department store and sharing his every move with adoring followers, his path crosses with the famous Madolyn Addison, and it becomes evident that things will never be the same.
For Marco, beauty isn’t just about looking good — it’s about feeling good. “This is more than just paint or glitter,” he tells Cattrall’s Addison as he applies her own makeup brand upon her gorgeous skin, “this is therapy in a tube.”
Cattrall shared a teaser for the upcoming series on June 6, and fans have been excited about it since they got the first look.
The synopsis for Glamorous reads as follows:
“Glamorous tells the story of 22-year-old underdog Marco Mejia (Miss Benny), a gender-nonconforming person who dreams of being a popular social media influencer while also making his way through the ruthless, dog-eat-dog beauty industry. Marco’s big break comes in the form of a job from legendary supermodel turned makeup mogul Madolyn Addison, played by the similarly legendary Kim Cattrall.”
