In recent memory, we’ve seen several fresh goodies surface online, including a trailer made available to those who didn’t attend San Diego Comic-Con, as well as an awesome new poster adding the likes of Superboy, Deathstroke and Ravager to the fold.

Now, WB has sent a handful of images taken from the season premiere our way. Actually, this particular episode, “Trigon,” was originally slated to serve as season 1’s finale, but plans changed. Regardless, you can peep the new photos in the gallery found below.

From what I can glean, it’s not just Dick Grayson who’s been corrupted by Trigon here, as Donna Troy, Starfire, Hawk, Dove and even Jason Todd are looking like they’ve crossed over to the dark side. Rachel Roth, meanwhile, has gone full Raven, so I’d assume the pictures of her with the gem on her forehead were taken after the defeat of her father and his subsequent imprisonment in said jewel.

If that weren’t enough, we also have this official synopsis for your reading pleasure:

The season two premiere episode follows directly after the apocalyptic events of last season’s finale. With Rachel’s father, Trigon (guest star SEAMUS DEVER) having successfully turned Dick dark, he sets out to win the others over to his side by embracing their inner darkness. With everyone under Trigon’s control, Rachel and Gar find themselves fighting what seems like a hopeless battle against the powers of Trigon.

Titans returns with new episodes on Friday, September 6th on DC Universe. Will you be tuning in? Let us know in the usual place below.
