Wally West Boards The Waverider In New Legends Of Tomorrow Images

Aside from a guest shot made by John Constantine - who'll be back again before you know it - perhaps the biggest talking point amongst Arrowverse fans regarding Legends of Tomorrow since it came back from winter hiatus has been that of Kid Flash joining the team.

For those of you who’ve been keeping up with DC TV as a whole, you’re well aware of how Wally West has been doing a bit of soul searching lately, leaving Central City in hope of finding his place in the world. Actually, we did get a brief glimpse of him in the closing moments of this week’s episode, “Here I Go Again,” but he’s not expected to officially become part of the principal cast until the March 5 episode, “No Country for Old Dads.”

Speaking of which, this freshly released batch of images show us Wally’s first adventure aboard the Waverider, and if you were to ask us, he looks like he feels right at home. Furthermore, Rip Hunter can be seen in tow, whom we knew to be responsible for the speedster’s introduction to the crew.

In addition to all that, expect the Fire Totem to play a critical role in this episode. In fact, the official synopsis confirms that it’ll need to be reassembled, thus alleviating our concern when it comes to Arrowverse continuity. If you’ll recall, it was destroyed in the Vixen web series/animated movie, so it’s nice to see some consistency maintained.

Here’s that synopsis we were speaking of:

TEAMWORK — When Damien (Neal McDonough) and Nora Darhrk (guest star Courtney Ford) take Ray hostage they force him to try and fix the Fire Totem, but Ray (Brandon Routh) tries to use the power struggle between them to his advantage. Ray and Nora find themselves working together in 1960’s East Germany in order to fix the totem, but soon come face to face with a younger and deadlier version of Damien Dahrk. Meanwhile, Sara (Caity Lotz) seems to be taking positive steps in her personal life. Dominc Purcell, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Nick Zano, Tala Ashe and Keiynan Lonsdale also stars. Viet Nguyen directed the episode written by Keto Shimizu & James Eagan (#313). Original airdate 3/5/2018.

Legends of Tomorrow airs on Tuesday nights on The CW.
