Ted Lasso has been one of Apple TV Plus’ biggest hits, with loads of people falling in love with the misadventures of the upbeat, fish-out-of-water American coach as he tries to navigate British football culture. Because of this, season three has been hotly anticipated, and many viewers are keen to dive into the episodes the second they become available for viewing.
Thankfully, knowing when new episodes of Ted Lasso land is much easier than understanding the offside rule. Here is what you need to know.
What is Ted Lasso season three about?
The official synopsis for the third (and maybe final) season describes this installment by saying:
“In season three, the newly-promoted AFC Richmond faces ridicule as media predictions widely peg them as last in the Premier League and Nate, now hailed as the “wonder kid,” has gone to work for Rupert at West Ham United. In the wake of Nate’s contentious departure from Richmond, Roy Kent steps up as assistant coach, alongside Beard (Brendan Hunt).
Meanwhile, while Ted deals with pressures at work, he continues to wrestle with his own personal issues back home, Rebecca is focused on defeating Rupert and Keeley navigates being the boss of her own PR agency. Things seem to be falling apart both on and off the pitch, but Team Lasso is set to give it their best shot anyway.”
