Daisy Jones & The Six seems poised to be the rock and roll breakout story of the year, but you won’t be streaming it through your favorite music app. The new TV series — based on Taylor Jenkins Reid’s fictional novel — follows the rise and fall of a Fleetwood Mac-style rock band in the early 1970s, and is generating a huge amount of buzz. The series will be available for streaming on Prime Video in less than 24 hours. Here’s how to watch it.
How to watch Daisy Jones & The Six
Daisy Jones & the Six is an Amazon Studios project, and as such will be airing on Amazon Prime Video exclusively. That means you’ll need a subscription to Prime in order to watch. Prime memberships are available for $14.99 per month or $139 per year, for anyone without an existing subscription. Curious viewers can also sign up for the standalone service for $8.99 per month. Amazon plans on dropping the first three episodes of the 10-episode season on March 3, and subsequent episodes will be released every Friday until the finale comes out on March 24.
The show will adapt the entirety of Reid’s novel, which tells the story of the title heroine, a singer/songwriter who rises to the heights of fame after joining up with The Six, a band that is teetering on the edge of superstardom. Unsurprisingly, fame leads to even greater problems for Daisy and the band.
Daisy Jones & The Six stars Riley Keough as Daisy. The series also stars Sam Claflin as Billy, Will Harrison as Graham, Suki Waterhouse as Karen, Sebastian Chacon as Warren, Josh Whitehouse as Eddie, and as Camila Morrone as Billy’s wife, Camila.
