Iman Vellani did an incredible job as Kamala Khan in Ms. Marvel, and everyone should get to see it. Luckily, the Disney Plus series is coming to the small screen over a year after its debut on the streaming platform — a first for any Marvel Studios project.
Yes, the teenage superhero will finally get exposure to a wider audience, but unfortunately, nothing guarantees success, as despite its stellar reviews, Ms. Marvel didn’t cause much of a stir among Disney Plus subscribers. Nevertheless, the show’s premiere on broadcast TV is cause for celebration, and those who have yet to watch it don’t want to miss this chance to do so.
When will Ms. Marvel be broadcast on ABC?
The first three episodes of Ms. Marvel will air on ABC on August 5, a Saturday, starting at 7pm CT. Exactly a week later, on August 12, viewers will get to watch the broadcast of the second half of the season, starting at the same time.
In addition to providing Marvel with a chance to understand how its shows perform outside of streaming platforms, this release is also likely meant to hype up Kamala’s silver screen debut, The Marvels. In it, Vellani will share the protagonism with Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers and Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau, so even if you have watched the series already, it might be a good idea to dive back into it.
In case you miss the broadcast, though, worry not; Ms. Marvel will remain available for streaming on Disney Plus.
