Today, Warner Bros. Studios released the second trailer for Wrath of the Titans, the sequel to the 2010 remake of Clash of the Titans.
Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson, and Ralph Fiennes reprise their roles from the first film while Jonathan Liebesman, the director of Battle: Los Angeles, Darkness Falls, and The Killing Room, replaces Louis Leterrier in the director chair.
This trailer is shorter than the first one but is still filled with tons of action. Perseus (Worthington) returns to fight off more long-necked creatures, fire-breathing monsters, and double-bodied, sword wielders and for better or for worse, this looks like more of the same. Considering the first film didn’t do too well with critics, I don’t think this one stands much of a chance. But who knows, it may surprise us.
In this film, which takes place a decade after the first one, Perseus is on a mission to rescue Zeus (Neeson), who has been targeted for capture by his son, Ares (Edgar Ramirez), and his brother, Hades (Feinnes).
Wrath of the Titans will be released in 3D on March 30. Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think.
